'sorted' - safer partying drug information guide ** Community Alcohol and Drug Service (CAD) - Auckland Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS)

CADS is an Auckland-based organisation providing education and counselling for those with alcohol or drug problems. Counselling and advice is also provided for family and friends concerned about another’s drug use. Specialist CADS services include: Maori Service – Te Atea Marino; Pacific Service – Tupu; Youth Service – Altered High; Medical Detox Services; Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service; Intensive Outpatient Programme – CADS Mt Eden; Dual Diagnosis Service; and the Auckland Methadone Service. All services are accessed by phoning (09) 845-1818 or www.cads.org.nz

The CADS Units are at several Auckland locations:

CADS North 14 Como Street, Takapuna

CADS Central 1st floor, 409 New North Rd, Kingsland

CADS West 1st floor, 1 Trading Place, Henderson

CADS South Building 4, 17 Lambie Dr, Manukau City

Opening hours are weekdays 9am-4.30pm. No appointment is necessary between 10am-1pm. Evening groups and appointments are also available.
